Final thoughts.

Undoubtedly, the R5 7600X as a newer product and technologically developed, would definitely outperform the i5-12600K. But the differences for a gamer are negligible at this point. Maybe even in purely processing renderings we wouldn’t see enough differences or even at all. The points I will stand on are the following, as much as I support AMD, what it does. Qualitatively, 10 cores and 16 threads are superior to 6 cores and 12 threads. I don’t even consider Alder Lake outdated anymore. It’s one of Intel’s best products right now.

Finally, the Intel core i5-12600K’s ability for me to build a system with DDR4, as I still have no reason to enjoy the benefits of DDR5, nor pay so much for it, makes it clearly more VFM option and I’ll go for it as the winner of the match.
